The Foundation Board

Cynthia Bougher, President
Cynthia Bougher, MSN, is the CEO of Valley Hospice.  She has been involved in hospice care for more than 10 years, with previous experience in Obstetrical and Mental Health Nursing.  Cynthia is a member of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  She is also a member of the National Hospice Work Group, an invitation-only group of CEO’s who are considered national leaders in the hospice care industry.

Hope Kurtz, Vice-president
Hope Kurtz lives in Dillonvale, Ohio with her husband and two children. She graduated from Belmont Technical College with an Associates Degree in Nursing and has recently graduated from University of Phoenix with a Masters of Science in Nursing and Masters of Health Administration. She is a certified hospice and palliative care nurse. She began her hospice career at Valley Hospice, Inc. more than 15 years ago as a hospice nurse. Currently, she is the Chief Operating Officer.
