The Valley Hospice Foundation has been built on the philosophy of providing consistent and dependable funding to Valley Hospice, Inc.  The two fundamental elements of that philosophy are memorial contributions and the annual giving campaigns.

Memorial contributions are a great way to help support hospice care for all residents of the Ohio Valley.  The patient’s family is sent a card notifying them of the contribution and each donor is sent a thank you.  Memorial contributions help pay for care for individuals without Medicare or private insurance.

Each spring, The Valley Hospice Foundation holds the “May Is a Time to Remember” annual fund appeal.  Contributions may be made in memory or honor of individuals or families.  Donors are recognized by state-of-the-art electronic scrolling donor displays at all Valley Hospice facilities.

The holidays are a special time that can hold dear memories that span a lifetime.  The Valley Hospice Foundation’s “Light Up a Life” appeal is designed to capture the spirit of the holiday season.  Donors are invited to fill out ornament tags that are placed on one of several trees in public venues throughout our area.
